Winter at The Brambles
About Us
We (the committee of Scout and Guide Leaders plus Volunteers) manage and maintain our centre adjacent to two local schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The Centre has a camping area for a maximum of 24 people staying over night. We suggest a daily maximum of about 70 people. The Brambles is approximately 1.3 acres and has woodland trails, a campfire circle plus two dedicated BBQ areas with seating. It is used by our Guides, Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Rainbows & Beavers who meet at Holy Cross church in Greenford along with other
Scouting & Guiding groups in Greenford & District.
We are available both nationally and internationally via UK Scout Campsite Directory website. In addition, our site is used by local schools and the local community by arrangement.
The Centre, over the course of a year, has about 500 visitors. Of course some of those are repeat attendances!
There is car parking space for six cars with step free access.
We have recently added both an accessible toilet, a single shower cubicle and a two person bunkroom/wet weather meeting space. The Lodge building, with step free access, contains a fully equipped kitchen, meeting area, two toilets and a covered veranda.
